Paul co-founded Nanuk in 2009 and is the firm’s managing director with over 30 years’ professional investment industry experience. He was previously head of GMO Australasia where he had overall responsibility for the management of the Australian and Singaporean operations as well as being head of Systematic Global Macro strategies. Prior to GMO, he held senior roles at Westpac Investment Management including Global Tactical Asset Allocation product development, portfolio management and strategy research as well as broader firm-wide derivatives and quantitative investment management responsibilities. Before Westpac, he held various roles at James Capel Australia encompassing derivatives sales, trading, options pricing and more general, equity and asset allocation related, quantitative investment research. Paul holds degrees in Science and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Sydney and is currently a director of the AIMA Global Council representing Asia Pacific.
